Resident Arts Organizations

The Resident Arts Organizations (RAO) at Hoover Community Center (HCC) are Flamenco Society of San José, Kaisahan of San Jose Dance Company, and Shri Krupa Dance Foundation.

The Neighborhood Arts Development Pilot (NADP) is operated by the City of San Jose’s Office of Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services, through an Agreement between the City of San José and the San Jose Unified School District for the development and operation of a community center in the historic Hoover building at the Herbert Hoover Middle School located at 1677 Park Avenue at Naglee Avenue, in San José, California.

The RAO offer a number of classes/workshops weekly at the center, where they also maintain their offices. RAO performances and class schedules are available by calling or link to their websites:
