Dress Code
In order to promote a safe learning environment, SJUSD has imposed a dress code for all of it’s schools.
The rules include no hats with brims on campus; no beanies or hoods are to be warn in weather above 60 degrees. No tube tops or spaghetti straps for the girls: boys’ shirts must have sleeves (no tank tops during school hours). Proper footwear must be warn (no slippers or moccasins without soles). No althletic or team sport logo items (except for Lincoln teams). Shorts must be to the length of your fingertips when arms are extended down your sides. You cannot wear two items of red or blue at the same time. Students who violate the dress code will be reprimanded and will be penalized with one or more of the following: student changes to appropriate clothing; student sent home for the day; student assigned Saturday School or AIM. Repeat violations may result in the student being put on a dress code contract; violating the contract may result in suspension. Please check the Lincoln Student Handbook for a complete list of rules concerning the dress code.
