Reporting an Absence
To excuse your teen please send them back to school with a signed note containing the following information:
-student’s first and last name
-grade level of student
-reason for absence

Attendance and Truancy
In order to make certain that all children acquire the necessary skills for success in adult life, school attendance is mandatory for all children ages 6 18 in the State of California. It is the responsibility of the parent and the child to ensure a childʼs regular school attendance. Click here for more information:

Signing Your Student Out
When students leave campus, they must be checked out in the attendance office. This can be done with a written note, phone call, or parent in person. The students will receive a “leaving campus pass”. When the students return to school, they need to check back in at the attendance office.
