Math Department Overview

The Lincoln High School Math Department strives to have every student successful in every level of mathematics. The curriculum is standards based to focus on the important topics within each course and the every teacher follows the same pacing. The curriculum is rigorous and students will be required to be active participants inside and outside of class.
San Jose Unified School District requires 3 years of mathematics credit (30 credits) to graduate high school. Additional math courses can be taken for elective credit and we encourage our students to take four years of math if they plan on going to a four year college.
