STUDENT NOTES:
Come celebrate the beginning of school by attending the Welcome Back dance on Friday, September 5th. Tickets are $3:00 each and can be purchased in the school bank during lunch or after school. Guests are not allowed at this dance, and you can purchase tickets at the door for $5.00. The doors will close at 8:30

Students who need community service hours can find a list of opportunities posted outside Mr. Roark’s office. The community service form has been changed this year and both sides must be completed properly to receive credit. Incomplete forms will be returned. You can pick up a new form in Student Services.

A word to the wise… avoid having your cell phone or iPod confiscated by remembering that you can only use them before 7:00 am and after 3:30 pm.... and no ski caps or hoods until the official Lincoln cold weather season begins November 1st. Baseball caps are always taboo.

Attention all Freshman: If you picked up an application to run for class office return the completed form to Mr. Roark’s box this Friday.

Josten’s is coming ! Check out all the cool ring designs today and Friday outside the theater. You can pick up a catalog to see all the new ring designs in the Student Services. A $50 deposit is required to place an order. 

If you paid for pictures on orientation you can pick them up in the school bank today at lunch or after school.

There will be a Junior Class metting today during lunch in room 18. We will be discussing our class of 2010 shirts.

There is an ASB Officer and Senior Class officer meeting today during Advisory today in the Media Center.

If you are interested in playing roller hockey this year, please see Mr. Church in room P103 no later than September 10.~ This is a club sport with one practice each week, and one game each Saturday.~ New players welcome! ~
