Back to School night is tomorrow evening. Clubs will be selling food from 5:00 - 6:00, and classroom visitations begin at 6:00 pm.

Spirit week is here: Thursday is twin day and Friday is blue and gold day.... and wear your blue and gold to the first
rally of the year. It’s this friday, at lunch, in the gym.

Teachers and students:  This week kicks off our Safeway eScrip campaign where Safeway donates 10% of the dollar value of your store receipts between Sept. 12th and Sept 26th.  To inspire you, we’re hosting a competition between all 2nd period classes where you can win a pizza party if your class brings in the most receipts.  We will award three parties, one for each week of the contest…and you can win more than once!  Free pizza for bringing in receipts…now, what could possibly be easier?

Attention Link Crew students!  Our first Link Crew meeting is in the media Center THIS FRIDAY!!  Come and get your community service hours signed.  See you there.

The make up day for school photos is today in the Small Gym. If you did not have your school photo taken during orientation or on the first day of school, please drop by the gym at brunch, lunch, or after school. If you do not, your photo will not appear in the yearbook. And for the Seniors, you must have your Senior Portrait taken by this Friday if you want your picture to appear in the yearbook. No exceptions. The photographers will be here all week; to schedule an appointment call: 1-888-898-G-R-A-D. Do it today!

Need community service hours?  We need students to work in the snack shack at this Saturday’s football game.  Contact Mr. Roark for details.

CAREER CENTER
Questbridges National College Match is offering a 4 year scholarship for low income students with a 3.0 GPA or higher.  The deadline is Sept. 30. Come to the College & Career Center for more info.

PREPARE FOR THE SAT!  E-Group will be hosting an SAT Prep Course, starting this Saturday at 8 am in room P110. The cost is 470.00.  You can register at [ http://www.egrouplearning.com ]www.egrouplearning.com Students who are on free or reduced lunch may be eligible for a scholarship.  Please see Mr. Mora for more details by TODAY!!  These classes will help raise your score on the SAT test, and will give you more options for college.

The Volleyball team has a home game against Saratoga today:  J.V at 5:00, Var. at 6:30

Attention all longboarding and biking club members: there is a meeting at lunch in Mrs. Campions room today to discuss our trip on Friday.

GSA is meeting in Mr. George’s room during lunch this Friday.  Join us in planning for future events!

French Society is showing the French film “Paris, Je t’aime” after school this Friday at 3:40 in P104.  Pick up a permission slip from P103 or P104.

The Christian club has a meeing in room 15 today at lunch.
