STUDENT NOTES

The Honor Roll Assembly is today at 10:45 in the gym. Make sure you check in with your 4th period class before attending the assembly.

October flash passes have arrived and can be picked up during lunch; make sure your name appears on the list posted outside Students Services

Attention all students enrolled in the PASS program: PASS Saturday School starts this Saturday from 9am-12pm at Washington Elementary School. See Mr. Mora in the Career Center for an application.

College week is next week: October 6 - 10.  On Monday, celebrate the event by wearing a college T or sweatshirt. Faculty and Staff, now is the time to advertise where you went to school, and students, wear the logo of the college of your dreams.

Attention all potential CSF members:  The applications for this semester are due Friday, Oct. 3.  Please submit them to Mrs. Greene in rm. 43.

CAREER CENTER

Many colleges will be hosting off campus info nights in the Bay Area during the month of October. Come to the College & Career Center for more info about UCLA, NYU, Penn, Columbia University, Mills, Lewis & Clark College, Yale, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and many more!  RSVP for these soon.

The registration for the SAT & Subject Test on November 1st is open until October 10th. And Seniors, you must register for the Oct. 25 ACT test by this Friday, October 3.

USC will be here on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Sign up in the Career Center.

ATTENTION JUNIORS: Parent night is on Monday, October 6, at 6:30pm in the Media Center.  Sign up in the Career Center if you would like to attend and learn more about the college process.

SOPHOMORES interested in taking the PSAT, on Wednesday, October 15th can sign up in the College and Career Center. There are limited exams for Sophomores, and the cost is $20.

Join the Viking Club in room A this Friday at lunch.

There is a mandatory LHD meeting today in the dance room.

Hey interacters, don’t forget today in room 55 there is an interact meeting.  Make sure you’re there.

Thespians!  The time is now!  There is a mandatory meeting on Friday at lunch to turn in your initiation costume ideas and to match students with initiators.

There is an Amnesty International meeting at lunch in room 54. Show up and voice your civil rights.

Our first night football game is this Friday. The J.V. game begins at 4:30 and the Varsity game begins at 7:00. Show your spirit, support your team, and wear blue and gold. Go Lions!
