Congratulations to Lincoln junior Frank Schiff, who was selected as one of ten area students who will be participating in the San Jose Sharks’ fourth annual High School Sports Writers Day.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, Frank and the other students will take a guided behind-the-scenes tour of HP Pavilion before the Sharks’ game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The tour will include dinner in the press room, and access to Sharks’ players and local sports writers. The evening will conclude with the students watching the game alongside reporters in the press box.

Frank’s article about the experience will appear in the next issue of Lion Tales. Student participants will submit their articles to the Sharks, and the winning entry will appear on sjsharks.com and in the Sharks’ game magazine.

CONGRATULATIONS!! You were this year’s Spirit on the Course Winners!! We definitely defended our title!! GREAT JOB!! Our gold poms, tied-dyed t-shirts, and spirit made all the difference!!

The team will be receiving a trophy from the Rock N’ Roll Marathon corporate headquarters. We will also be receiving $250 for participating!!
