Mr. Manthe

Chuck Manthe has been a theatre educator for thirteen years, the past ten of them at Lincoln. He holds a degree in Theatre Performance from Kansas State University and received his teaching certificate from Arizona State University where he studied Theatre for Youth. Mr. Manthe periodically works for the Broadway By The Bay in Burlingame as an acting instructor.

Mr. Manthe is the Theatre Arts Program Director, and teaches Advanced Acting Lab, Advanced Drama, Stage Craft, Special Technical Projects, and Musical Theatre. He has been listed multiple times in the Who’s Who of American Teachers, was Lincoln’s Teacher of the Year in 2003 and has directed three productions for the Edinburgh Theatre Festival in Scotland. The high point of each year is the trip with students to the Great White Way to take in the new seasons’ Broadway shows.
