Having previously served as an Assistant Principal for the 2007 LHS Summer School, it is an absolute pleasure to join the Lincoln team full time.  I have worked in San Jose Unified since the year 2000 when I started as a football coach and social science teacher at Gunderson High School.  During my tenure at Gunderson I also developed a literacy intervention program, taught AP Government & Politics, coordinated the College Summit program, and was the ASB Activities Advisor.

I am a graduate of Santa Clara University (Class of Õ96) where I received a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy.  Prior to joining the education profession I worked in the technology sector selling enterprise software and briefly held the best job in the world as a fly fishing guide in northern New Mexico.

As Assistant Principal of Guidance I oversee the academic guidance programs (college, career, and graduation), special education and 504 plan processes, high stakes test coordination (CSTÕs, CAHSEE, and College Board), and I am the administrator for 12th grade advising.
