The paper edition of the Bobcat newsletter will be distributed only to those families that didn’t opt out. Those that did not opt for the electronic newsletter and have siblings in the school, the youngest sibling will be bringing it home. If you do not wish to receive the paper copy it’s never too late to opt out. Simply send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) requesting the change. Thank you for considering to opt out to help reduce the number of copies to be made and save our school the expense of paper.

Bobcat Store

The Bobcat Store gives all students an opportunity to purchase small items using the Bobcat and Peace Builder tickets they have earned. Students enjoy shopping in the Bobcat Store on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 12:30-1:00 p.m. in room B-1 (Music Room).

Parent volunteers are needed to ensure the store is open on these Wednesdays. If you have a Wednesday available every now and again, the ladies at the Bobcat Store could sure use your help. Please contact Tiffany Pendrak at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and she can give you all of the important details. Without enough help not all the kids can redeem their “Bobcats” for deeds well done. Your help is needed and much appreciated!

Cartridges for Kids Fundraiser

If you received a new cell phone, digital camera, or some other fun electronic device over Christmas break don’t throw the old ones away! Bring them to school and drop them off in the cafeteria in the green box with the Cartridges for Kids poster. By doing this you can earn money for our school, recycle limited resources, and keep hazardous materials out of landfills.

This is an ongoing fundraiser, there is no deadline for dropping off items! Ask family, friends, and employers to donate items to our school (offices are a great place for recycling ink cartridges). Cartridges for Kids is also now accepting many brands of scientific calculators!

Other acceptable items include cell phones, ink-jet & laser cartridges, laptops, iPods, PDAs, video games & consoles, digital cameras, DVDs and GPS devices. For more information please contact Bianca Alsberg at (408) 458-0720 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). If you would like to see a detailed recycle list please refer to the Cartridges for Kids website at http://www.cartridgesforkids.com/recyclelists.html. Thank you for your help!
