WAY TO GO REED ROBOTICS TEAM!

Congratulations to the 2009 Reed Robotics Team #1357; Reed Destruction Tanks. The team worked for 3 months (twice a week for 2 hours at a time) on this year’s project and placed 19th out of 37 teams in the tournament held on November 14th at the Camden Community Center.

Reed Destruction Tanks is part of the world wide program FIRST LEGO League (FLL).  FLL is an exciting and fun global robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery, science, and technology in kids.
Each year Robotic teams embark on an adventurous Challenge based on current, real-world issues. Guided by a team coach and assisted by mentors.
I would  like to thank our coach, Peter Ryser, and our two mentors from the Pioneer High School Robotics team, Max Skinner and Strix Akiba. Without the help and technical knowledge Mr. Ryser, and the robotic experience of Max & Strix, I would have been lost.

Robotics Chairperson,
Kirk Wilson
