Uniform Policy

All students at Trace are REQUIRED to wear the approved school uniform.  The policy below has been developed collaboratively to ensure the safety of all Trace students. Only combinations from the approved list are acceptable.  We encourage all to dress appropriately for Trace.  If you should need assistance obtaining uniforms, please contact the school office and we can help you with that.
Boys and Girls
TOPS: Short or Long Sleeved Polo Shirts or Long Sleeved Turtlenecks, white or hunter green
Trace Tiger T-Shirt  - white or green t-shirts with Trace logo
*Trace “Show Shirts” are allowed on Fridays:
There are several Trace shirts which are not the uniform shirt that can be worn on Fridays only. These shirts are: Show shirts (any year, any show), Expect Respect, SportsKids, and All Stars.

BOTTOMS: Navy Twill Slacks, Navy Twill Walking Shorts or Navy Twill Cargo Pants (no corduroy, denim or knit)

COLD WEATHER CHOICES:
Navy Blue or Hunter Green Solid Color Sweatshirt - with or without zippers and hoods
Blue or Green Trace Logo Sweatshirt
Navy Blue or Hunter Green Cardigan Sweater
Jackets or Coats (any color) with no commercial or sports logo

SHOES: No Sandals, Jellies, Thongs, Clogs, High Heels, or Platform Shoes.  No Steel Toed Boots or Shoes.

JEWELRY: Students may not wear long earrings.  Students are encouraged not to wear other jewelry.  Trace School will not be responsible for lost or stolen jewelry worn to school.
       
Girls
TOPS: Short or Long Sleeved White Cotton Blouse with Peter Pan Collar

BOTTOMS: Navy Jumper, Skirt, Skort, or Capris (no corduroy, denim or knit)
Bel Aire Plaid Skirt or Jumper  

PLEASE NOTE: Slacks and Shorts must be worn with a Belt at normal waistline. 
Jackets or Coats are not permitted to be worn during class.
No Plaid Flannel Jackets, Shirts, Pendletons or Heavy Shirts. 
All Shirts must be tucked In.  Backpacks must be free of graffiti.
No Oversized Clothing.  No Hats or Head Coverings.  No Vests.

Trace logo sweatshirts and Trace logo t-shirts are available through Home and School Club.  Other uniform pieces may be purchased at Merry Mart, any department store or through French Toast.com.
