Years Working at Washington: 10 amazing years!
The best part about working at Washington Elementary is:
The best part of working at Washington is the people I am privileged to work with. I love our staff. My colleagues offer frienship, warmth and love! That makes coming to work everyday such a joy. I love the community I serve.
This year I am proud to work as a third grade teacher because:
I’m proud to work with my new 3rd grade team. I have been teaching at Washington for 10 years AND I have been teaching 3rd grade for 10 years!! You might think I’d be rusty or stale or even bored, but I’m not! Every new year is a challenge and every year I learn so much from my colleagues and the students!
My teaching philosophy includes:
I believe that everyone is entitled to an excellent education. I expect excellence from my students. I try to instill that value of working hard, by example. You must make an effort to reach your goals. After your effort you may not be number one, and that’s disappointing, but if you’ve made a sincere effort and pushed yourself then you can be satisfied with yourself.
I am happiest at school when:
I’m happiest at school when children are enthusiastically learning, show a good attitude about working and are smiling and laughing all at the same time. I also really like it when children spontaneously applaud. It’s one of the most amazingly sweet things kids do!
My interests outside of school include:
Outside of school?! I love spending time with my family and friends. I like bargain hunting/shopping. I love photography - taking pictures more than being in them… I like music, dancing and most of all.... reading!
My birthday is on:
April 6th! (aries)
