As a Washington Elementary teacher, I, Viviana Garcia, believe that… A. We have wonderful parents, and their help and support is a key to the students’ success. Parent involvement is one of the factors that make Washington a special and happy place! B. We have great friends: the Rotary Club of San Jose, The Sharks, Target, and many other institutions have contributed to make Washington the special place it is. Students, teachers, and the community in general value the support, enthusiasm, and generosity that our partners bring here. C. We all work hard. From the principal to every member of the staff, we follow a common goal: our students’ success. We know and understand that success is only achieved through hard work, commitment, and a great sense of pride. We are proud to work here and we feel we belong in here!
