Good morning. I would like to thank the parents who helped to make our first tour today outstanding!  Also, we had about 25 students featured in the Spotlight piece of the program who were so articulate, confident and genuine!  I was so impressed and taken aback by the presentations our students made about our special programs at WGMS!  WG Rams did a fantastic job!

YESTERDAY’S RECRUITMENT TOUR
A BIG THANK YOU to all teachers and students who helped out yesterday at our Recruitment tour.  It was a huge success.  Way to go RAMS!

FIRST FRIDAY
Come all you 6TH graders out to the Grove today at lunch to celebrate our First Friday of 2009.  Find your WEB leaders and have a fun time. 

FREE DRESS DAY COMING
Do your homework every day in every class and you will earn a free dress day for Jan 16th.  This is our second homework incentive, it began on Monday,January 5th and will go until next Friday, Jan 16th.

IMPORTANT YEARBOOK INFORMATION
Attention all students, yearbook sales are $35 now and will go up beginning February 1.  Also, if you are interested in having your yearbook personalized, next Friday, January 16 will be the final day to have these orders turned in.  Don’t hesitate, get your orders in A.S.A.P. so you won’t be left out.

SELAC MEETING NEXT WEEK
Next Wednesday, January 14 from 6:30 - 7:30 in the WG Media Center,
Willow Glen HS & MS will be holding an informational SELAC Meeting, (School English Learners Advisory Committee).  Tell your parents to attend this meeting.  It’s to inform them about the English Language Learners Programs that are offered here at Willow Glen.
