WEB activities are geared specifically to 6th graders. 6th graders don’t participate in school dances. As a result, we plan 3 to 4 major events each year to give 6th graders an opportunity to be social and have fun with their classmates. An administrator is always present.
The first activity, WEB Orientation Day, is held during summer, usually the week before school starts. At this event, students and parents are oriented to the school. Students are placed in small groups with “Web Leaders”, older WGMS students who lead their small groups through fun activities throughout the day. All 6th graders also receive an assembly, have lunch, go swimming at the school pool, and pick up their class schedules. Parents meet the principal and administrators, and have the opportunity to sign-up for PTA, purchase uniforms and pre-order yearbooks.
Other 6th grade WEB activities occur throughout the year. These activities are normally held on a Friday afternoon after school is out. Listen for updates on the Daily Bulletin, check the home page calendar, or here for upcoming events.

Make sure the office has your updated telephone number so WEB Leaders can remind you about First Friday celebrations in the WEB Grove!
