Speech and Debate

WGMS is proud to present a brand new elective, Speech and Debate.

Students start by building a solid foundation in public speaking then transition to an introduction to Parliamentary debate and argumentation. Speech and Debate is open to 7th and 8th graders and is a semester long class.

WGMS is one of only two middle schools in the district to offer Speech and Debate. Rams are pioneering this field by offering this class whose body of knowledge extents far beyond the classroom door.
