Our School Goals



Changes are underway at Anne Darling Elementary. When you visit you will notice the construction going on to improve the buildings on our campus. Visit the district site for a current construction update.

We are currently striving to bring technology into our school. We are in the process of integrating computers and technology into the curriculum. We have set our goals high and we are depending on the community to help our goals become reality.

*Community Involvement

Anne Darling is a community collaboration interested in the use of technology to facilitate parent and family involvement in education. This includes projects that use technology to engage families in the educational process and those that help families understand the use of technology in teaching in learning.

*Professional Development

We want to help teachers understand new technologies and learn how to use them effectively, integrating technology into the curriculum in accordance with California Technology Standards.

*Lifelong Learning

We want to develop an environment that will promote lifelong learning and community collaboration. This includes students, families, schools, colleges, educational organizations, and community-based organizations.

*Parent Involvement

We plan to begin offering classes to parents in our computer lab. We hope that our entire push toward making our students technology literate will turn out to be a team effort: parents, teachers and community working together.

*Met Goals

One of our goals was to wire every classroom in the school so that all the classrooms could be networked. This goal has been met, and every student has the ability to reach out over the internet to research, study, and network with others who share the same interests.
