Broadway High School incorporates technology into all of its classrooms
and subjects--from core courses to electives to our extra curricular
activities.
Students use
Micro Soft Office to create spreadsheets, reports, and PowerPoint
presentations. Students also have access
to Adobe
Pagemaker, a page layout program. Using Pagemaker, students create
their own layout of the annual "Yearbook" and school
newspaper.
Students also learn how to create reports with a layout and organizational
system
that is consist and formatted professionally.
Students also
create the Broadway newspaper using Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop
and Adobe Illustrator.In
addition, a good percentage of Broadway students have learned
to create WEB sites using HTML scripting language. Students
use
Photoshop to create photos and graphics appropriately formatted
for the WEB.
WEB related
research and study is a part of our core courses.

To the left is a project completed by Araceli Cervantes. This
project was created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dimensions (a
3D graphics
program).
Araceli created and drew the design for the cup. She also did all
the artwork on the box.
Students do
all their artwork. They never use clipart or download pictures
or graphics from the WEB. All work is created by the student.
