SAT TEST PREPARATION AT WILLOW GLEN HIGH SCHOOL

WGHS SAT Preparation

WGHS is pleased to offer FREE SAT test preparation.  Students may register to use the CollegeBoard Online SAT Preparation Course free of charge. Students wanting to use the course must get their personal registration code from the College and Careers Center.

 

Revolution Test Prep.

In preparation for the spring SATs, Willow Glen High School has teamed up with Revolution Prep to hold classes on campus leading up to the March 1st and May 3rd SAT test dates.  The next round of classes will begin on March 15th to prepare for the May 2008 test date.

Willow Glen High School Partners with Get In 2 College

Get In 2 College is a web-based resource through which the "Get In 2 College Handbook", a guide to college exploration and application for students of all grade levels can be downloaded and printed.

In addition, WGHS is granted access to the Get In 2 College non-public website. This website offers many links to web-based resources on a wide range of college/career topics, including information on College Exploration, Two-year College Resources, College Planning for Athletes, College Planning for Minority, Low-Income, First-Generation Students, Financial Aid, Scholarships, Summer Programs, Internship/Gap Year Programs, Personality and Career Assessments, Help with Essays, Resumes and Applications, and much, much more!
 
Also included are other materials such as calendars for students at each grade level, college check lists by grade level, check lists for college visits and applications, and off- to- college check lists.

Willow Glen High School in Partnership with Dynamite Sports!

In an effort to provide resources and educate our staff and families with regards to college athletics and the recruiting process, we recently purchased an On-line Educational Recruiting System.  This POWERFUL system has three integrated websites and includes over 120 streaming videos, 15 power-point presentations and hundreds of charts and documents. They will provide us ALL the tools necessary to make knowledgeable choices and decisions and ultimately help our student-athletes be more prepared and find the right opportunity. 

Use this system to create a “Blueprint for Success” and help Willow Glen HS student-athletes achieve their ACADEMIC & ATHLETIC goals for college, whatever they may be!

The Homework Center is open Monday to Thursday from 2:15 pm to 3:45 pm, in the Gene and Mickey Long Media Center. Computers will be available for students to do word processing and teacher and peer tutoring will be offered.
