COIN Career Guidance Systems

COIN is used with 9th, 10th and 11th grade class groups. This program promotes
independent career planning, creates awareness as to the level of skills needed for specific
occupations, helps students assess skills and identify areas for improvement. It also enables
college planning, college research, and gives access to information on financial aid and
scholarship searching.

Full details on the content of the COIN Career Guidance System may be found at
http://www.coin3.com/highschool/community.asp

COIN utilizes the accessibility of the Internet to make students’ career exploration and
planning available 24 hours a day. Students in every grade level each have a COIN account that can be accessed from any computer, using their Student ID number as their UserName, and date of birth (as a six digit number) at their Password.

In order to access their individual account, students should go to www.coin3.com/ccc and type in their UserName and Password; enter the Site ID for Willow Glen (CA14204); and click on Submit Login

My Road

MyRoad is produced by CollegeBoard.com, and from October 2005 onwards, every student
who takes the PSAT test will have access to this program.

MyRoad offers students major and career information, plus the ability to search for colleges,
take a personality-type assessment, and get exclusive, first-hand perspectives from students
and professionals currently working in their respective disciplines and fields.
