Welcome to the College and Careers Center! We are located in Room L-102. The staff who work in this location are Louise Gill, College and Careers Center Technician; Mary Grunthaner, Assistant Principal for Guidance/12th Grade Academic Advisor; and Patricia Bolanos, 11th Grade Academic Advisor. We are the central resource to help you develop your post-high school goals as you move through high school. We have information, resources and materials to help you research college choices, complete college applications, gain financial assistance for college, explore careers, and earn high school and college credits through a variety of educational programs. We are equipped with new computers that enable you to take advantage of the wealth of information available through the internet. Our resources and support services include: programs for college preparation and career exploration for grades 9 - 12; an information library complete with college brochures, scholarship and financial aid information; career and vocational exploration resources; PSAT/SAT/ACT/AP test preparation and registration materials; on-line career/college search programs; CCOC class registration; Community College class registration; work permit applications; and much more. Numerous college and career representatives make presentations to interested students throughout the year. Having you graduate from high school and go on to college and/or advanced training is our goal! Use our many resources to help you pursue your dreams.
