Expulsion is defined in the California Education Code as: the removal of a pupil from (1) the immediate supervision and control, or (2) the general supervision of school personnel.
Expulsion is our district’s most serious consequence for misbehavior or inappropriate behavior. The rules and laws concerning expulsion can be found in California Education Code section 48900.  You can also find information about expulsions in our Student Handbook which is given to all students/families at the beginning of each school year.
