Transfer & Withdrawal Information
Students wishing to enroll at Willow Glen High School must visit the Enrollment Center in order to register. Once your student has been enrolled, please ensure you bring the withdrawal paperwork from your previous school to the Registrar's Office located in room R107.
You will need to bring the following:
Once received, our Assistant Principal of Instruction will schedule the student in the appropriate courses.
Education Verification Requests
Employers, educational institutions and the like may verify a current or former student's education online by submitting a request. Turnaround time is between 1-3 business days. Please fax or email your request (no phone calls please.)
All requests for transcripts, official and unofficial, must be submitted online. Once received, your transcript will be ready for pick up or mailed within 1-3 business days. There is no fee for transcripts.
Transfer & Withdrawal Information
In order to withdraw your student from WGHS, the legal guardian must disenroll the student in person with the Registrar in room R107. Please allow 15-20 minutes for the process. An appointment will help expedite the process. To request an appointment, please contact the Registrar by email or phone. All school debts (Library, Textbooks, Athletics, etc.) must be cleared prior to or at time of check out.
To ensure student access to Blended Learning programs, please use the application links above. You can bookmark this page on your personal device/s so that you can easily navigate back to it in the future. In addition to this page, you can also review the Blended Learning links guide here. This guide explains how to use the OneLogin or Clever dashboard for access, both methods are fully supported. We do not advise using a search engine (Google, Yahoo, etc.) to find application login pages. San Jose Unified uses Clever to sync student/teacher/roster data so that it is always up-to-date, our supported programs have to be accessed through the unique links that integrate with Clever.
If you are using an iPad at home, please download the “Clever” application and the specific app (Dreambox, Lexia) that your student is trying to use from the App Store. Open the Clever app, login, and it should work as expected.
We currently have 28 students on our ‘high need” list of Willow Glen Cares students. They range through students who are homeless but maybe staying with a friend, living in a hotel, shelter or transitional housing or living with their family renting a a room or apartment at such a high price that they cannot afford much beyond the rent. There are severe food shortages in many of these homes and trouble paying utility bills and transportation to school. (A VTA bus pass costs $45 per month per child which is why some of our students walk two miles to school every morning)
The students on this list have been invited to “reserve” a Thanksgiving gift basket for pick up next week. Thanks to the efforts of the National Honors Society under Mr. Mok, we will have 15 gift baskets arriving at school on Monday. “Young Life” are providing us another 5 so we hope we will be able to provide a gift basket to all the families who need and request one. We are also going to give each of these students a pair of cosy socks (that was a request made by one of the kids).
Winter Holidays – “Adopt a Student / Family” Program 2015
Each year for 3 years we have had an “Adopt a Student or Family” program. I invite you all to participate in this initiative. If your family, your office, your club, your classes or your organization would like to “adopt” one of our own students or families, which means providing them with some gifts and supplies for the winter holidays, please let me know. I will send out the details of how this works next week. We also welcome all donations to add to the gifts or in the event of a new student or family in need coming to our attention at the last minute. Donations can include new blankets, pillows, hygiene supplies, cookies and seasonal gifts, socks, sweatshirts etc. and gift cards.
Thank you and look forward to hearing from some of you!:

The San José Unified Student Handbook is designed to help students and families understand the board policies, California laws, and school district procedures that ensure students have every opportunity to succeed in a safe learning environment.
The handbook contains a wealth of information that should be used as a guide to help you throughout the school year. You’ll find resources like the instructional calendar, a list of school organizations and committees to consider joining, expectations for attendance, behavior guidelines, and graduation requirements.
