Willow Glen Athletics

We expect our student/athletes to strive to succeed in the classroom as well as on the athletic field. Our athletes are motivated to push themselves in their studies and provide an example for our student body of effective time management, sportsmanship and school spirit. Our coaching staff is highly skilled and our coaches are expected to provide our student/athletes with the training, tools and practice they need to succeed on and off the field.

As always, I am looking forward to another great year of Willow Glen Athletics. GO RAMS!

Sportsmanship Updates

Together, the CIF and its member schools can change the very nature of high school athletics and bring back the character, sportsmanship, ethics and integrity that high school sports can instill. This particular issue of the newsletter also features links to “Teachable Moments from the Olympics”, “Steps Involved in Hiring Coaches for Education-Based Athletics Programs”, a video on “How Parents can Improve the Game” as well as several other topics of interest.

Please forward the newsletter on to your coaching staffs and athletic communities in our efforts to share ideas in sportsmanship, leadership, administration. and teaching skills that have been recognized throughout the CCS, CIF and NFHS.
