Meetings Dates are announced in the beginning of each semester.  Meetings take place once a month on Fridays during tutorial in the College and Career center.
Membership Is by invitation only: invitation is decided by the WGHS NHS Chapter faculty committee and is based on Character, Leadership, Service, and Scholarship.  Students are invited to apply their sophomore year or the first semester of their junior year.  The committee considers cumulative grade point average (3.5 and above), community service hours that exceed the district requirement, participation in and dedication to the chapter philanthropy, discipline record, and demonstrations of leadership skills.  Students who are invited to participate are asked to fill out a survey of student information and have to obtain 3 personal recommendations for the consideration to membership of the faculty committee.  Click here to see the NHS By-Laws.
