Willow Glen Athletic Boosters

A vital piece of our success here at Willow Glen High School is the support of our parent-led Athletic Booster Club.  Their mission is purpose is to aid in the financial and moral support of the athletic teams and programs of Willow Glen Middle and High Schools and their related facilities. We also coordinate and assist with individual team fundraising opportunities for uniforms and equipment.  In order for the Boosters to function, we need parent, alumni, neighbors, and committed community members to actively participate by giving some of your personal time and energy. In addition to attending meetings, we need some volunteers to help host events, sell snacks, promote the Boosters and more!

Sportsmanship Updates

Together, the CIF and its member schools can change the very nature of high school athletics and bring back the
character, sportsmanship, ethics and integrity that high school sports can instill. This particular issue of the newsletter also features links to “Teachable Moments from the Olympics”, “Steps Involved in Hiring Coaches for Education-Based Athletics Programs”, a video on “How Parents can Improve the Game” as well as several other topics of interest.

Please forward the newsletter on to your coaching staffs and athletic communities in our efforts to share ideas in sportsmanship, leadership, administration. and teaching skills that have been recognized throughout the CCS, CIF and NFHS.
