WEB “Where Everybody Belongs” - 6th Grade Orientation

WGMS is proud to offer the WEB program for incoming 6th graders.

WEB, which stands for “Where Everybody Belongs” is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes 6th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, the program trains 8th grade class to be WEB Leaders. As positive role models, WEB Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school and help facilitate 6th grade success.

WEB Day is for ALL incoming 6th grade Rams and will be filled with fun, prizes, food and activities.
The 2018-2019 WEB Day is scheduled for Wednesday, August 8, 2018
8:30AM to 1:00PM

WEB Day is a free event for all 6th graders coming to Willow Glen Middle School. The day is filled with fun activities where students will get to make new friends and learn about life at middle school. Students should come dressed in comfortable clothes and no supplies are needed. Students will finish their afternoon with a pizza lunch and then be able to pick-up their schedules, buy PE clothes, learn about school related events and activities and get a tour of the campus.
