District English Learners Advisory Committee

The District English Learners Advisory Committee (DELAC) is composed of parents, educators, and community members interested in advocating for the needs of English Learners and ensuring that students are getting quality programs and services. The DELAC advises the district on the goals, objectives, and plans for English Learners’ education and also contribute to the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Each school has an English Learners Advisory Committee (SELAC), which elects one of its members to serve on the DELAC.  

Committee meetings take place at 6:00 PM on select Mondays in Room 150 at the District Office at 855 Lenzen Avenue, San José, CA 95126.  Childcare is available for meeting participants.
