Please note that your student’s place on the waitlist may go up or down as students are added to and called off the waitlist.
You will be contacted by phone and/or email if a space becomes available for your student. Please note that we can only hold spaces for 24-hours once you are contacted.

Elementary neighborhood waitlist (grades TK – 5). The waitlist is only for neighborhood students when there isn’t room in their requested grade level at the time of enrollment. The waitlist will be in the order of enrollment requirements met; with priority given to foter students and students who have a sibling enrolled in the requested school.
Elementary Two Way Bilingual Immersion (TWBI) waitlist (grades TK – 5). The waitlist for TWBI program originates after the lottery, where students who can’t be accommodated in the program will be placed on the waitlist in a random computer-generated order. Families requesting the TWBI program after the lottery deadline will be placed on the waitlist in the order the enrollment application met requirements (new students) or the TWBI application was received (currently enrolled students).
In order to keep the 50/50 balance of English and Spanish speakers in each class, students may be called off the waitlist based on the student’s home language. In grades 1st and higher a student must be grade level proficient in both Spanish and English to be placed in the program. Students may be evaluated before placement.
Elementary Magnet School waitlist (grades TK – 5). The waitlist for Magnet Schoolsoriginates after the lottery, where students who can’t be accommodated in the program will be placed on the waitlist in a random computer-generated order. Families requesting a Magnet School after the lottery deadline will be placed on the waitlist in the order the enrollment application met requirements (new students) or the TWBI application was received (currently enrolled students)..
Secondary (grades 6-12). Students who aren’t assigned to their first-choice school during the middle and high school selection lottery will be placed on the waitlist for their requested school, in a random computer-generated order, using the priorities established for the lottery (hyperlink to middle and high school page). Requests received after the lottery will be placed on the waitlist in the order received, using the priorities established for the lottery.
