Arts and Music in Schools (Proposition 28)

On November 8, 2022, California voters approved Proposition 28: The Arts and Music in
Schools (AMS) Funding Guarantee and Accountability Act. Starting in the 2023-2024 school
year, every school is apportioned a Total School Site AMS Allocation each year. This amount
will vary each year and is based on the prior year pupil enrollment and prior year enrollment of
pupils eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
