Technology
San José Unified technology resources are provided to students for educational purposes to prepare them to navigate an information-rich environment. All students in grades K-12 are eligible to receive an iPad or a Chromebook for school use. The student is responsible for the proper care of their device and its accessories, including transporting the device between home and school. Students are expected to follow the Technology Use policy regardless of the device used to access San José Unified resources. If a device requires repair or replacement, the parent/guardian or student should contact the school and provide details about how the damage to the device occurred.
Refer to the Parent/Student handbook for more information about technology use, social media, and the policy that students are expected to follow.Parent and Student Handbook
