Instructional Continuity Plan

Instructional Continuity Plan

Every school district is required to have an Instructional Continuity Plan that ensures students can keep learning during emergencies, such as natural disasters or school closures. The plan explains how schools will provide lessons, assignments, and teacher support, whether students learn from home or elsewhere. The goal is to help students stay on track with their education, even if they can't attend school in person.

The plan will be updated during a natural disaster or emergency and will be communicated to families within 5 calendar days with access to in-person or remote instruction as soon as practicable, but no more than 10 instructional days following the emergency (Education Code 32282)
