We look forward to engaging with you as we prepare today’s students to be the thinkers, leaders, and creators of tomorrow.

This year, we’re excited to launch a number of new projects and initiatives to improve connections with our families and provide more information to our community about everything that’s happening in San José Unified. From a new website to a mobile app for parents, we want to bring the district office to you.

Our mission is to come together as one community to elevate opportunities for all. We invite you to get involved in this effort by participating in your school site council, joining a district advisory committee, or attending Board of Education meetings. We want to hear from you about how we can continue to improve our work to reimagine learning.

On behalf of the Board of Education and all of our employees, we wish you a wonderful school year.

Nancy Albarrán

P.S. Don’t forget to save the date for our first district-wide town hall of the school year on Monday, September 25th, at Willow Glen High. Click here to learn more and RSVP.
