San José Unified is an equal opportunity provider. You can support student nutrition by making a tax-deductible donation towards student meals at nutrition.sjusd.org.

Ensuring that our students are mentally, physically, and socially well is a priority for us. While our counselors and Student Services staff continue to check in with the students to whom they’ve been providing ongoing support, we know that, in these uncertain times, additional students may need support as well. To request a live discussion with someone on our team, please email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or fill out this form.

Parents, guardians, and students 11 and older can also still take the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ). Sent to families before school began, the SDQ is a widely used tool to help identify student strengths, needs, and potential supports. To read more about the SDQ, please click HERE.
